Well hello! I have been neck deep in assessments all last week
and it is continuing into this week. I am done with all the whole class
assessments. (Yeah!) Now I’m on to the assessments I have to do individually. I
have seen that some of you are already on Spring Break. (I’m a little envious,
not going to lie!) I know I’m ready for break and so are my students!
I figured I would take a break from all of the grading I am doing
tonight to tell you about an awesome linky I found. It is from Traci at Dragonflies
in First. She wants to know, “What was the most helpful teaching advice you
have ever received.”
My advice comes from my fabulous mentor teacher. During my
student teaching I was concerned about managing my students. She told me that
it is not the severity of the punishment but the certainty. I have found her to
be absolutely right!
Hop on over to Traci’s blog to read other teacher’s advice! I
love what had been shared so far.
I’m not sure what it is about grading that brings out the procrastinator
in me. Back to work! Happy Monday.

Consistency is huge, isn't it? I have to admit I still struggle with it. Great advice! Thanks for linking up. :)
