Hey all! I'm back for Wordless Wednesday from Miss DeCarbo at Sugar and Spice.
All you have to do is upload a picture and ask a question. Easy as pie, right?!
I just finished my long range plans for the 2014-2015 school year. This is the first time I have attempted to plan out my year in this way. Do you use long range plans? Do you like them? I would love to know your thoughts about them.
Wow! I'm super impressed. I haven't even bought a plan book yet! EKK
ReplyDeleteAt my old school, we were forced to make long range plans. It helped me get a good idea of how my year will pan out. But, to be honest, my plans changed SO much, that I ended up using my weekly plans WAY more than my long range plans.

Thank you! Just out of curiosity, how detailed where your plans? I have been wondering if I should make my plans more specific but it sounds like my weekly plans are going to be the place for that.
DeleteI've been working on mine, too! Last year I was in a new school, new curriculum in a Young 5's class (previously I had taught Kinder & 4 year old preschool). I made sketchy monthly plans for the entire year and jotted down notes as we went along. Now, with the year behind me, I'm updating that yearly plan and making modifications. It's work but well worth it. It's the main way for me to know I'm covering everything I need to!

Looks like you are ready for the school year to begin! Love your outline. I always try to have something mapped out just so it motivates me to stay on track. Thanks for sharing :)
